Strait of Hormuz opens for ships

A very important sea route, the Strait of Hormuz, is finally opening again. Since the war between Iran and the USA started in February, almost no ships could pass through. This was a big problem because much of the world’s oil travels this way. On Friday, a cruise ship called Celestyal Discovery successfully sailed through the Strait. Now, other ships that were stuck in ports like Doha and Abu Dhabi are also preparing to leave. There is a two-week ceasefire , which helps the ships travel safely. The ceasefire ends on April 22, but the US President might make it longer if the situation improves.
